Stefan is a Google My Business Gold Product Expert and has completed certifications in Google Search Ads and Google Analytics. He has an MBA from McMaster University in Ontario, Canada as well as a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Stefan loves working with small businesses where the results of effective marketing are appreciated by the people who care about the business the most: its founders and owners.

Stefan is a self-professed nerd. He started playing with computers circa 1982 when his dad brought home a Tandy TRS-80. He spent the next decade learning how to program in Basic and Pascal and connecting to bulletin boards (BBS) with a 1200 baud modem.

Stefan started building websites in 1995, using Windows Notepad to write HTML by hand. He stumbled across SEO in the late 90’s when curiosity sent him digging into the HTML markup of a page to try to figure out why it appeared at the top of the rankings. (His search engine of choice at that time was Lycos.)

When he’s not working you’ll likely find him learning, so he’ll be even better when it’s time to go back to work. And when he’s not working or learning, he enjoys cooking, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, mountain biking, fishing and playing the piano.
